A New Year

I don’t make New Year’s resolutions because I’ve never kept one to January 31, let alone to December 31. How about you? I prefer to make plans for the year. This year my first two books will be published and I will be out and about in Indiana enjoying book signings and book talks. Since my blog is redglassslipper.com, I have a small red glass slipper to put on my table to hold pens or mints. I will be wearing my new red shiny heels which Kristin, my marketing manager, gave me for Christmas. She is also nearly adopted along with her four children. That makes eight grandchildren for us. What a blessing. Maybe all the little girls need red shiny slippers as well.  Should I provide red shiny heels for Kristin, daughter Kelly, best friend Annette when they go with me to help direct customers to my table and help sell my books? What suggestions do you have for me about book signings? What would attract you to an author’s table in a bookstore or coffee shop? I would love your input.
